Countdown

Add a countdown timer to create urgency and encourage quick purchases for limited-time offers or special sales.

Sitewide Countdown Setup

Steps:

1. In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Customize to open the theme editor.

2. In the Theme settings sidebar, find and expand the Sitewide countdown section.

3. Set the ending Countdown Date using the format YYYY-MM-DD.

4. Click Save to apply the sitewide countdown settings across your store.

Product Page Countdown Timer

Steps:

1. In the theme editor, navigate to a product page to access specific product settings.

2. In the left sidebar, select Countdown under the Product information section.

3. In the settings panel, customize the Pre countdown text to display above the timer.

4. Enter the Countdown date for when the offer or sale should end.

5. Adjust the Countdown size to small, medium, or large as needed.

6. Customize the Countdown expired text to display when the timer ends.

7. (Optional) Check Use sitewide countdown to use the main sitewide countdown.

8. Click Save to update the product page.

Countdown in Rich Text Section

Steps:

1. In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Customize to open the theme editor.

2. In the left sidebar, locate or add the Rich Text section.

3. In the section, click Add block and select Countdown from the available options.

4. Customize the Pre countdown text to display above the timer.

5. Enter the Countdown date for when the offer or sale should end.

6. Adjust the Countdown size to small, medium, or large as needed.

7. Customize the Countdown expired text to display when the timer ends.

8. (Optional) Check Use sitewide countdown to use the sitewide countdown.

9. Click Save to apply the countdown timer within the Rich Text section.

Countdown in Image with Text Section

Steps:
