Adding Products
Add Products:
Steps for adding product details, uploading images, and setting variants like size or color.
Steps:
In your Shopify admin, go to Products.
Click Add product in the top right corner.
Under Title, enter a descriptive name for your product.
In the Description field, add detailed information about the product, highlighting its features and benefits.
In the Media section, click Upload new to upload images of the product.
Select images from your computer and upload them.
Arrange the images to set the main image as the first one in the sequence.
Under Pricing, enter the Price and, if applicable, add Compare at price to display a discount.
Optionally, add Cost per item to help track profit margins.
In the Inventory section, add a SKU for internal tracking and enter the Quantity if you're tracking inventory.
Enable Continue selling when out of stock if you want to allow backorders.
To add Variants (e.g., Size, Color), scroll to Variants and check Add options like size or color.
Enter Option names (e.g., Size, Color) and corresponding Option values (e.g., Small, Medium, Large for size).
Click Add another option to include more variant types if needed.
Under Product organization, assign the product to a Product type, Vendor, and Collection.
Add Tags to improve searchability and filtering on your storefront.
In the top right, make sure the Product Status is set to Active to make the product visible on your store.
Click Save to add the product to your Shopify store.
