Add essential policies to provide important information and build trust with your customers.
Steps:
In your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Policies.
On the Policies page, you’ll see fields for essential policies:
Refund Policy: Outline your store’s return and refund procedures.
Privacy Policy: Detail how customer information is collected, used, and protected.
Terms of Service: Define the terms under which customers can use your store.
Shipping Policy: Describe shipping methods, timelines, and any applicable fees.
Contact Information: Provide your store’s contact information to comply with requirements, especially for the European Union.
For each policy, you can:
Write your own text.
Or, click Insert template to add a standard policy template that you can customize.
Review each policy carefully to ensure it aligns with your store’s practices.
Once completed, click Save to apply all policy changes.
