Setting Up Collections
Create collections to showcase similar products together on your store.
Instructions for creating collections and assigning products to them.
Steps:
In your Shopify admin, go to Products > Collections.
Click Create collection in the top right corner.
Under Title, enter a name for the collection that represents the products it will contain.
In the Description field, add details about the collection, if desired.
In the Collection type section, choose how products will be added:
Manual: You’ll manually add products to the collection.
Automated: Set conditions to automatically add products based on criteria (e.g., product tag, price, or vendor).
If using Automated, set conditions for product inclusion:
Use Conditions to define which products are added. For example, set a condition to include products with a specific tag.
Choose whether products must meet all conditions or just any condition.
In the Image section, click Add image to add an image for the collection. This image may display on your storefront if your theme supports collection images.
Under Search engine listing preview, you can edit the collection’s SEO settings, such as the Page title and Meta description, for better search visibility.
Click Save to create the collection.
Assign Products to the Collection (if using Manual):
After saving, scroll down to the Products section.
Click Browse to select and add individual products to the collection.
Click Save to finalize any changes.
